PLOGGING is a new fitness craze which originated in Sweden. The name is a contraction of the words Picking Litter and jOGGING. It is essentially a form of interval-training with some deep knee bends and lunges randomly spaced between periods of running. I don’t actually run (I usually walk) while plogging, but it is an amazing activity. It feels good physically and emotionally – there’s nothing better than taking care of your health and the planet at the same time.
